Critical: always read the draft before sending. Copilot drafts can:

• Misidentify the recipient's request.
• Get names or facts wrong.
• Strike a tone that doesn't fit the relationship.
• Include reasonable-sounding statements that aren't quite right.

The productivity win is "drafting from a starting point" not "send without reading."

Operational considerations

• Sent emails are recorded normally — Copilot doesn't change retention, audit, or eDiscovery.
• Mobile Outlook has a subset of Copilot capabilities — summarisation and coaching, less full draft generation.
