Microsoft's productivity and well-being analytics service, built from Microsoft 365 telemetry.
Viva Insights turns Microsoft 365 usage data — meetings, emails, chats, focus time — into actionable insights at three levels: personal (only visible to the individual user), manager (aggregated team patterns above a minimum team size), and leader (organisation-wide trends for executives). Built on the successor of MyAnalytics and Workplace Analytics. Personal insights, mindfulness content from Headspace, focus time, and Praise are included with all Microsoft 365 plans. Manager, leader, and advanced analyst capabilities require Viva Insights premium or Viva Suite licensing. Designed with strong privacy protections — no email or chat content is exposed, only metadata.
