Which Purview sensitivity label?

Two questions to a suggested Microsoft Purview sensitivity label and whether it should be encrypted, built on the standard four-or-five-label taxonomy. Client-side, no sign-up.

A starting point for a single item, not a substitute for the taxonomy design work — read the sensitivity labels deep dive before rolling anything out tenant-wide.

Suggested label

General

No encryption

The default for everyday work. This path should be frictionless — if General feels like the wrong choice often, the taxonomy's defaults need revisiting, not this content.

This assumes the four-or-five-label taxonomy in the sensitivity labels deep dive — a tenant with a different taxonomy should map these answers onto its own label names rather than treat this as literal.
