Microsoft 365 retirements tracker
Dated Microsoft 365 retirements and end-of-support deadlines already covered in this site's guides, in one table — plus an ICS calendar feed.
Every row here is sourced from a guide already on this site — see the “source” link on each row. Nothing was looked up fresh for this table; a row marked “date not firmly confirmed” means the source guide itself said the same. Subscribe to the ICS calendar feed.

Ongoing deprecations without a fixed date
Already-deprecated or in-decline capabilities mentioned in guides, without a specific effective date confirmed here to anchor a table row to.
- AzureAD and MSOnline PowerShell modules → Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK
In maintenance mode, no longer receiving feature updates, and on a retirement path with no fixed date confirmed here.
Guide → - Skype for Business Server and the Skype consumer app → Microsoft Teams
The on-premises server is past end of support and the consumer app has been retired; Teams is the successor for both.
Guide → - Legacy (basic) authentication protocols → Modern authentication (OAuth 2.0)
Disabled by Microsoft for most Exchange Online services; a Conditional Access policy blocking legacy auth is still recommended as a defence-in-depth measure for anything that resurfaces it.
Guide → - WSUS for new investment → Windows Autopatch
Still functional, but Microsoft's direction of travel is cloud-delivered updates; Windows Autopatch is the managed-service alternative.
