Microsoft Priva is the data privacy management product in Microsoft 365, sitting alongside Purview but focused on privacy specifically: where personal data exists, who has access, and how to handle subject rights requests under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regimes. Two main capabilities: Priva Privacy Risk Management (continuous detection of overexposure, inappropriate transfers, data minimisation issues) and Priva Subject Rights Requests (structured workflow for handling right-to-access, right-to-deletion, and similar requests). Licensed as a per-user add-on. Increasingly part of the compliance baseline for organisations handling significant personal data.
