Microsoft 365 F3 is the frontline worker Microsoft 365 plan, designed for deskless and shift-based workers — retail associates, warehouse staff, healthcare floor staff, manufacturing operators, field service technicians. Substantially cheaper than knowledge-worker plans, F3 includes web and mobile Office apps, Exchange Online (2 GB mailbox), OneDrive (2 GB), Teams with frontline experience (Walkie Talkie, Shifts, Tasks, Praise, Approvals), Microsoft Entra ID P1, basic Intune, and SharePoint. Designed around shared device sign-in for kiosk and shift workers. The lighter F1 sibling lacks installable mobile Office and storage. For organisations with significant frontline populations, F1/F3 plans dramatically lower per-user cost while providing the right capabilities.
