Graph Connector

A Microsoft Graph indexing connector that brings third-party content into Microsoft Search and Copilot grounding.

A Microsoft Graph connector indexes content from a third-party data source — Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, Salesforce, Box, file shares, custom web apps — into Microsoft Search's index, making it discoverable across Microsoft 365 alongside SharePoint and OneDrive content. Each connector defines what to index, how to map source schema to Microsoft Search properties, and which users can see which content (permissions trimming). Microsoft and partners ship many connectors out of the box; the Graph Connector SDK lets you build custom ones. The right way to extend Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365 Copilot grounding to systems outside Microsoft 365. Licensed per indexed item with monthly free quotas in most Microsoft 365 plans.
