Entra ID P2
The Premium P2 tier of Microsoft Entra ID — Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management, access reviews.
Microsoft Entra ID Premium P2 is the higher licence tier that adds Identity Protection (sign-in risk, user risk, automated risk policies), Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for time-bound admin role activation, Access Reviews for periodic recertification of role and group membership, and risk-based Conditional Access. Included with Microsoft 365 E5 and sold standalone. The right tier for organisations taking identity security seriously — without PIM, every Global Admin is a 24/7 attack target; without Identity Protection, compromised accounts go undetected longer. Many tenants on E3 add P2 as a step-up SKU for their admin team while leaving general users on P1.
