BIMI

Brand Indicators for Message Identification — a DNS record that displays your brand logo in supported email clients.

Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) is a DNS-based standard that lets your brand's logo appear next to email from your domain in supported clients (Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo, Fastmail). A BIMI record at default._bimi.yourdomain.com points to an SVG logo and (for verified brands) a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) from a recognised CA. BIMI requires DMARC at p=quarantine or p=reject as a prerequisite — its purpose is to reward domains with strong anti-spoofing. The result is better brand recognition and (some evidence suggests) higher deliverability. Microsoft 365 supports BIMI on outbound mail when properly configured.
